Mornings in Brooklyn

If there is something which always rings true in high-volume places, it’s that mornings are dead. The Brooklyn Bridge is an icon, therefore a RUSH - even in the bitter cold of January… but Alley + Rook agreed to meet up in the brisk morning light on the bridge. A few Uber rides and some decent amount of walking later we ended up on an almost completely isolated bridge - what a dream. Although pretty sure it is a few months later and I’m still defrosting. :)

Most of my shoots happen out in the wilderness - - so it was a fun challenge shooting urban. And what better place than New York! I loved hearing Alley and Rook’s story of how they met - growing up together - and now calling NY their home. I’ll be back out with these guys in the Carolina’s this year for their wedding… instant friends. The best.
